Liberty Or Death: Which Part 70 We must be ever on our toes

God tells us to remember the day of His choosing. But you say I am free. God has set me free. And hear it is so say you.

We are now in the day of God’s favour, the day of grace. Jesus has pointed out Sabbath.

But read these verses very carefully. “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” If Jesus taught then that people were free not to Keep the Sabbath anymore the Jews would have held a hanging party then and there. And if that were the case that He did away with the Sabbath then why did the disciples, including Paul, continue observing the Sabbath as is shown in the Book of Acts.  Also there is the matter of John the beloved. In the book of Revelations chapter 14 verse 12 John tells us that people would be found keeping that commandments. Also in 1 John 2:3,4 John tells us that it is only as we keep the commandments of God is there any proof that we know God and a failure on our part to keep them makes a liar out of us for we really do not partake of the love of God as we claim.

My prayer for all of us is that we be ever on our toes. Satan is seeking at every step to devour out Christ-like lives. To turn us into his followers and away from Jesus whom he hates.
